How To Make Vegetable Salad With Homemade Italian Dressing
Make The Dressing – Combine all the dressing in the jar and shake until mixed well,
Make The Salad – In a large bowl, mix all the vegetables, do not add parmesan and bacon yet. Pour the homemade dressing over the vegetable mixture and toss. Chill for around 2 hours.
Add The Last Bacon – Once the mixture has chilled and marinated and you are good to serve it, add bacon and toss it. Make sure you do this at the time of serving.
Garnish and Enjoy – Garnish the finished product with parmesan and enjoy!
Tips For Variations
Vinegar – if you prefer red wine vinegar over white vinegar, you can definitely swap the two.
Storage – You may store this mixture in fridge for 5 days. I would not suggest to freeze it as it changes the taste.
Add nuts or seeds- You can add nuts or seeds for more crunch, you can always add nuts to salad according to yor preference.
Add other veggies – If you like to add more vegies, then yes you can! Just make sure to adjust the dressing accordingly.
